Construction of an average-sized retail space used by Tigros in Busto Arsizio.

The construction works included cast-in-site foundations, plinth beams, stairwell and earth retaining walls, whereas prefab elements were used for the remaining structures (floor bases, pillars, beams and infill panels) on two floors, the former above ground level, provided with flat roofing, where masonry utility rooms were built, and the latter below ground level and used as underground car park.

Upon completion of the assembly step by sealing the infill panels, casting floor finishing and insulating the floor bases, besides laying two elastomeric membranes over the roofing, the works proceeded to laying power cable and heating system ducting.

The works on building interiors were completed by laying coatings and cladding, painting and installing door and window frames and fittings as well as bathroom fixtures. The works on the exteriors were completed by lighting, horizontal and vertical signage as well as underground utilities such as rainwater collection drains, ductwork connecting to sewers, connections to gas, power and water supply mains.

Finally, the bituminous surface was laid in the car park and the road surface, and horizontal and vertical signs were added.
